what would you do if you saw someone torturing an animal.
If they were torturing an animal for your plessure. ( E.g circus elephents
being striked with metal hooks) Would you do nothing.. or do you think
it'd be ok to torture the person/trainer to show them how it feels.
CALL or EMAIL PETA (people for the ethical treatment of
animals) They make sure this is handled immediately. It can not hurt to
call the police too, because there are laws for animals protection.
torture person. call cops. animals are equals but they
cannot speak for them selves
i dont tend to employee people to torture animals for my
pleasure...As a hypothetical question,this is too open ended a question I
am of the opinion that the horse racing industry tortures aniamls for our
pleasure but they will argue otherwise.
Or do you dress entirely in enviromentally unfriendly synthetics as
opposed to using wools or leather again the use of these could be
construed as torture.I think you really should have posted this qustion in the philosophy section.
as much as i would love to cause pain to someone who is
torturing a poor helpless animal, i would definitaly call 911 and get near
by help.
If everyone walked out of the circus when the animal was being
tortured then they wouldn't have a business & the animals would not be
captured for stupid circus stunts. People should not support this kind of
crap by going to the circus in the first place. Seriously if you go to the
circus you are supporting them to keep doing what they are doing. There are
circuses that don't use animals in their performances, see those instead.
But if i saw it happening, i would call the appropriate animal welfare to investigate.
That is why I don't go to the circus!! As far as abusing an
animal, that is easy to answer. I live in a small Kansas town, little
animal control and no SPCA. It is easy to steal the animal from the owner,
but they usually will just give it up. Then it goes on a road trip to the
humane society. They will take the animal for a small donation and find it
a new home.
I would report them to the SPCA, contact the newspaper + tv
stations to get them to publicize this abuse. I would also look up PETA
an animal abuse group that is totally against this + has stories on animal
abuse including some circuses. Hope I have a video camera on me so I can
tape the crime. I tend to be pretty vocal. My neighbor used to zap his
dog for nothing with that electronic training collar. That dog was mean +
it suddenly disappeared. It must have been euthanized. I told him if I heard that anymore I would report him. He quit but by then the dog was already mean.
I don't go to circuses because the animals look so depressed.
If I witnessed it, I'd report them to the SPCA and/or the local police,
and say something so they knew their actions had been seen and were viewed
as inappropriate. Something like, ''Hey! That is not nice! Stop it!''
Well.you get it.
I don't think it is appropriate to torture the person/trainer either. They
should lose the ability to ever own another animal, and if caught with another animal, face jail time.
I'd call the ASPCA! People like that make me sick!!
I would call the cops on them.
i would save the animal and then i would punch the person
torturing them in the face..many times.
I'd torture the person doing it!
